What is your room cancellation policy?

When you book directly with Heritage Inn Bathurst or Zig Zag Motel, enjoy the flexibility of our 24-hour cancellation policy. Simply give us a call before 2 pm on the day of your scheduled arrival, and your booking comes with no cancellation charges.

Absolutely! For some peace, ask for a room at the back of either Heritage Inn or Zig Zag Motel.

Please note, this is based on availability, and not all room styles are located at the back of the motel.

When are the motels open?

Both The Heritage Inn in Bathurst and the Zig Zag Motel in Lithgow, operated by Inz Group, is open from Monday to Saturday, starting at 7:00 am and closing at 9:00 pm.

On Sundays, our hotel operates from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Please note that on public holidays our opening hours may vary, and we suggest you contact our customer service team for any updates on holiday schedules. Our hotel's accommodating hours allow our guests to have flexible check-in and check-out times, making it easy to schedule business meetings and attend conferences with convenience in mind.

Depending on availability, we might upgrade your room at either Heritage Inn Bathurst or Zig Zag Motel in Lithgow for a small fee. Just ask at reception when confirming your ETA.

Not to worry. Arrange a late after-hours check-in at either Heritage Inn Bathurst or Zig Zag Motel in Lithgow, and we'll guide you through it. Just send us pics of your license and credit card for confirmation.

At this time, the Zig Zag Motel and Heritage Inn aren't aware of bikes for hire in Lithgow or Bathurst. However, feel free to bring your own bike and join the fun with group rides organized by Renshaw's Pedal Project!

Yes! As part of our commitment to enhancing your stay, we provide complimentary access to top-notch gyms for our guests. At Zig Zag Motel in Lithgow, you can access AnyTime Fitness near Woolies, and guests at Heritage Inn in Bathurst get free access to City Fit, conveniently located in the heart of the RSL.

Do you have a pool?

Yes! Lithgow's Zig Zag Motel has a pool behind Frankie's Restaurant. The pool is heated by solar-powered panels and is open to all Zig Zag Motel & Apartment guests as long as the sun is up.

Unfortunately, Heritage Inn Bathurst doesn't have a pool. However, the Manning Aquatic Centre is just 1.1 km away from the motel at 9 Elizabeth St, Bathurst NSW 2795.

Is breakfast included?

At Zig Zag Motel, Lithgow: Breakfast is not included, but you can order it the night before. The kitchen will bring you a breakfast tray with things like cereal, bread for toast, and and freshly made breakfast wraps along with a toaster or sandwich press for your use in the morning. It's only available from Tuesday to Sunday.

We also provide lunch pack option, the kitchen can pack it for you. You can take it with you or eat it in your room the next day. They have cold and microwave-friendly lunches with a drink and morning tea.

At Heritage Inn, Bathurst: Breakfast is extra, but we've got self-serve breakfast rooms. Book early, and you'll save!

Can I get a rollaway/cot in my room?

We recommend booking the room type that suits your group size. Queen and King rooms accommodate one (1) to two (2) guests, Twin rooms accommodate two (2) to three (3) guests, and Family rooms accommodate three (3) to four (4) guests.

If your preferred room is unavailable or you need a cot for an infant, we can add one to your room for a nominal fee to cover set up/linens.

Do you have pay TV/Foxtel?

No. All our rooms feature smart TVs, allowing you to log in to your favorite streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, Prime, and more. Please remember to sign out of all of your accounts before checking out of your room.

What's the difference between a high and low table?

Accepted Answer

Our restaurant is set up into two sections. The back of the restaurant is designed for larger bookings, with LOW dining tables that can be put together to accommodate parties from two (2) to twenty or more (20+).

The front of the restaurant has a few small tables of two (2) or (4), but also a section of HIGH TABLES near the bar, fireplace (turned on seasonally), and TV. These can seat groups of one (1) to twelve (12) and are great for cocktails, grabbing a beer, or groups who are paying individually.

Do you have electric vehicle (EV) charging options available at your properties?

Yes, we are pleased to offer electric vehicle charging stations at both Zig Zag Motel in Lithgow and Heritage Inn in Bathurst. Our charging stations are available exclusively for our guests*, allowing you to recharge your vehicle conveniently during your stay.
